Kludde is a compilation release under Conjunktival and Nooit Meer Naar Huis. The Kludde of Flanders is an evil spirit, a shapeshifting waterdemon that walks on his hind egs and jumps on to the backs of people wandering outside the city alone at night. When he catches you, you have to walk with him on your back until the first sunlight. Kludde often transforms himself into a tree, small and delicate at first, but rapidly shooting into the clouds, while everything it shadows is thrown into confusion.
Or as a black dog, running on its hind-legs with a chain round its throat, lunging at the throat of the first person he meets, flinging him to the ground. For the compilation we asked 18 artist to give us an interpretation of this demon as a music piece and an image. We then released the album as an collectible card game. Each artist has their card with their image and name of their track. Together they were packaged in a collectible booster pack. The compilation featured the following artists:
